We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you in the place where we fell in love and decided to stay. This won’t be a black tie ballroom kind of weekend (you probably guessed that). It’ll be more horses and mountains, music and meaning. Keep scrolling, as every detail on this page is here to help you feel at home and part of the story.

Ceremony to begin at 4:30 PM
Woodlands at Cottonwood Canyon
141 Old Timber Way, Bozeman, MT 59718

JULY 31, 2026

see you there!

The Woodlands at Cottonwood

Ceremony & Reception to be Held AT

We met and fell in love in Montana, and somewhere between long drives, slow mornings, and riding horses in the mountains, we knew this was home, and found home in each other as well. Tim proposed on the trail with our horses by our side, just the two of us and the open sky. It was intimate, a dream, and perfectly us. That’s how we want our wedding to feel, too.

Nothing over-the-top. Nothing that feels like playing dress-up. Just a day that reflects who we are and the place that brought us together, with the people we love most.

Please be sure to explore the links below for our recommendations on attire, things to do around Bozeman, lodging, and other ways to have the best experience with us this summer!

Of Us

The Story

We put together a Pinterest board full of ideas. You don't have to follow it exactly, but if you want a little guidance or you're excited to lean into the destination energy, it's there to help you feel connected to the celebration.

Need Inspiration?

We welcome jeans, but only clean, newer jeans (NOT your work pair). Pair them with a button-down shirt and a blazer or sport coat if that feels right. A suit is great too if that's more your style.

What WON'T work: shorts, hoodies, t-shirts, or anything you've worn to work in the barn or the shop. Please keep it classy and intentional, gentlemen.

Men

You'll be navigating a mix of dirt roads, grass, and indoor floors, so wear something you won't regret walking (or dancing!) in. Chunky heels, boots, or flats are your best bet, so save the stilettos for another day.

Layers are essential. Montana weather can shift from sun to wind to chilly in a heartbeat, even in July. A jacket, shawl, or wrap will be your friend.

Women

We’re calling the vibe mountain chic, which basically means “put-together but practical.” The ceremony and reception will be a mix of indoors and outdoors, so layers are your friend. Montana can surprise you with sun, wind, or a little snow, even in summer. No cowboy hats needed. No black tie required. Just your version of comfortable, lovely, and weather-aware.

what we'dlove you to know:

We've also gathered our best recommendations below for lodging, transportation, and things to do around Bozeman. Whether you're flying in early to explore or staying an extra day to ride horses in the mountains, we hope you'll make the most of being here.

Planning Your Stay

AC Hotel

These are our downtown hotel recommendations if you want a walkable option with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, plus easy shuttle access back after the reception. If you're choosing an Airbnb, we recommend the Bozeman or Gallatin Gateway areas. You'll be close to the venue and still within a 20-minute drive of great hiking, shopping, restaurants, and everything else that makes this area special.

Where to Stay

The Element

We highly recommend booking a ride through Mountain Mule, Tim's private car service, Montana style. Ubers exist in Bozeman, but they're scarce once you leave town. Cell service is also limited in many areas, so relying on rideshare apps can get dicey. You may want to consider renting a car or scheduling rides with a service like Mountain Mule. Family rates are available, so please reach out during the week of the wedding to ride with the Mule. We're also planning shuttle service after the reception to bring guests back downtown. More details to come as we get closer.

What to Do in Montana

03

One of our favorite places in town. Great for ditching your phone for a couple hours and actually getting in your body. This traditional Russian banya is the least "Montana" recommendation here, but we love it.

Umvelt Bathhouse

Chico Hot Springs is beautiful spot for relaxing, though it's a bit of a drive. You'll need to rent a car or hire a private service like Mountain Mule to get there.

Bozeman Hot Springs is a great local option that's just 15 minutes outside of downtown Bozeman. They have live music by the pools on Thursdays and Sundays.

Hot Springs

Shan: Thai fusion meets local Montana ingredients. This place feels like stepping into an absolute other world. A must-visit.
Revelry: Downtown bistro vibes with great cocktails and shareable plates.
Stacey's: A true Montana experience.
Jam!: Bougie breakfast and Amy's favorite. Get there early or be ready to wait.
The Western Cafe: Classic diner breakfast and Tim's favorite. No frills, just good food and strong coffee.

Restaurants

If you only go to one bar or do one thing while you're here, make it this. Wednesday nights are dance lessons, and Friday and Saturday feature open dancing with live music. Pair your evening of dancing with dinner at the historic Stacey's steakhouse next door and it will be the most Montana experience you'll have all weekend.

You'll see we've made a few selections, but honestly, we have everything we need. What we're most looking forward to is this next season of life and eventually building a home together. If you feel inclined to give a gift, we're accepting contributions toward that dream. But truly, your presence in Montana is more than enough.
